Do You Really Need A G Shock?

So when you think of watches that all the "cool kids" wear whats the first piece that comes to mind? G Shocks. But they're so expensive right? You know why they're so expensive? All the features! G Shocks are resistant against drops, vibrations, ice, mud, water, and I'm pretty sure you could throw it at the sun and It'd come out fine. I just don't understand the concept of paying so much money for stuff that you're not going to use. Nothing against G Shocks or anything [they're pretty snazzy I have to say]it's just that there are others things that I'd rather wear instead. For Astronautss? Okay. Skateboarder? Why not. Wanna be socialite who spent his paycheck on some lame shoes, and a watch that does more stuff than he'll ever need? I think I'll have to pass on that one.
G Shocks are made by Casio, and Casio has made a lot of nice pieces in the past. Look to your left. That's what I wear insted. Casio Ca-50 [As seen on Marty McFly. Just throwing that out there] Think oustide the box. You'll find some cool stuff over there.

    first of all g-shock are alright. as far as the casio ca-50 you say you wear,it isn't a Casio CA-50 marty mcfly as seen in your picture. That's a new CA-53W-1 updated casio. If it were a real vintage casio that marty mcfly wore in Back TO The Future it would say Casio Lithium CA-50 across the top. The watch your wearing is a $12.00 Walmart Casio.

    It's actually an 11 dollar ebay casio. You may not of noticed Anonymous, but this article is a bit dated. My opinions, and little knowledge of watches, has changed as I progress. Nothing against G Shocks, they're all watches in the end.
